Parish NW came to us through rich history of family restaurants and a love of all things New Orleans. Our goal of bringing fresh and sustainable southern food while still using high-quality and local (whenever we can) ingredients has come to life in this down home rendition of what was passed down to us from previous generations. Keeping that tradition is very important to us, and we would love to share a bit of it with you.
Chef Rhabbie was born and raised in the Philippines where he spent most of his childhood. When he moved to Seattle as a teenager is when he truly found his passion for food, different cultures and their cuisines. He Attended Art Institute of Seattle for Culinary Arts and has now been cooking professionally for the last 20 years. He has a variety of experience in French, Creole, Mediterranean, Asian and of course PNW cuisines. He spends his days off trying new food spots, hiking, running, and adventuring with his wife and family. Food and family is what his life is all about!
Born on the bayou just south of Houston, Alek moved to the Seattle area as a teenager. Working his way from greasy spoons and pizzerias to highly lauded downtown restaurants, he has developed a passion for making simple delicious food with quality ingredients. Now he brings his skills, dedication, and hard work to Parish. He spends his free time cooking for his family, making music with his band, and spending time in the great outdoors with his wife and dogs.
